    the activity of the students in Ezra Vogel Special Skills School


    On Thursday 28th, January 2010, the school principal leaded the students to dig many square holes to grow mango trees,
    the students are divided in four groups, each group has to be responsible for their school work by having a person
    to be the group leader. if someone is absent, the group leader will take action to punish the absentee.through applying of each group,
    the result has shown that what they tried their best to do is not good for nothing and get succesful .
    the activities of growing is not reaching yet, because we have to burn the rubbishes .why  ?
    -To appease the desease
    -To make soil effective
    -To become the ash to support the growth
    the habbit of growing was always done since the past time which each generation usually behaved.The importance of growing:
    -To make the shadow in our school background
    -To make the environment fresh and interesting
    -To urge the children to understand the usefulness and value of growing
    -To urge the growth to increase
    -To make the soil have humidity
    -To expect that the growth will provide production back some day in the future
    Finally, we all have nothing to say more ,beside expressing our gratefulness to Mr.Rick Dyck ,Mr and Mrs Kawasaki and other donors in building and supporting warmly to our school.

    School Activities

    On Thursday, February 04, 2010 all the students and the school principal are deciding to take the mango tree, the avocado tree, and Doran tree to growing surrounding school. As we know Cambodia is an agricultural country most of the people they are farmer and they usually do the farm to adopt the family condition. So the Vogel School is also a sample of other schools in Ratanakiri province to push the agriculture to be progressed.

    The below picture are activities while they were planting.

    Remember that before we grow the tree we need to decorate the hole for growing. In each hole, there are 0.50 squares and the distance of the hole is 4 meters in each. Below are the pics of the hole

     

     

    The School Principal guided and introduced his students about the process to grow the threes. His is really specialist about agriculture. Below pics are the activities while they were looking at their school principal decorating the hole:

     

     

    The holes were digging two weeks ago so the ground is not safe, therefore the need to watering into the hole to make the ground safe for growing trees. Below pics are the activities of the students trying to get the water from the well to watering the holes:

     

     

     

    After they have already watering into the hole they need to take something like gravels and the rubies that are not a fertilized soil. Below are pics of the activities while they were taking something from the hole:

     

     

    At the same time of growing the trees, some of the students they go to cut the small woods to stick up around the hole to protest from the animals. Below are pics of the activities while they were cutting the small wood to protect their trees.

     

     

    Here are the activities while they were together growing the trees. The school principal is responsible to control and lead the students to grow and tell them how to grow the tree as good. At that time too the students seem understand well and they can grow by themselves.

     

     

    These are the achievement of the school principal and students, they tried very hard since last two weeks till today. They hope forward to seeing the trees will grow well and give feedback next five years.

     

     

    Finally, we would like to thank you very much for the great donors who always support our school. We do hope you all will still continue your generous kindness to help us, especially our children they need education, and development. We are teachers here will participated in teaching, organizing, leading, and orientation all students to succeed their future goal.
